The American Chemical Society’s premier outreach program, ACS on Campus, is coming to San Francisco State University on Thursday, March 14th. Join us for an exciting day of publishing talks, career tips, and the latest ACS Resources you can use to grow your career. Network with local professionals and your peers and make lasting connections over breaks.

The event is FREE and open to all students and researchers studying the sciences-not just chemistry! You do not have to be a student of San Francisco State University to attend.

Understand why networking is a critical component of career success in the chemistry and biotechnology industries, and learn proven networking tips to help you advance in your career.


Road to Grad School: Understanding the Process

Understand the steps needed to apply for a graduate program. Learn the differences between a Masters or PhD program and how to prepare for them.


Advance: ACS Career Resources

Learn ACS resources available to students to help them find a job, attend graduate school, find a fellowship, and advance their careers throughout their scientific life.


Lunch and Resume Review

Students are assigned time slots to have their resume reviewed during lunch by ACS Career Consultants. Sessions will be approximately 15 minutes in length. We recommended that students bring copies of their resume to have reviewed.
