About

ACS on Campus is back at Nanyang Technological University!

This event features two sessions led by ACS Editors-in-Chief on scientific writing, publishing, and peer review. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage with ACS editors during a panel discussion, gaining practical insights to support their research and publishing journey.

The event will also include two special breakout clinics: a SciFinder Clinic led by Pamela Oon, Customer Success Specialist Manager (APAC), CAS, and a Publishing Clinic led by Asha Liza James, Associate Publisher, Global Editorial Strategy, ACS Publications.

In celebration of ACS’s 150th anniversary, the event will also feature interactive onsite activities—test your knowledge, discover new insights, and take home a special gift.

This event is open to students and researchers studying the sciences, not just chemistry!

Attendees will receive a personalized participation certificate after the event.

  • CAS Clinic: Solve Your Research Roadblocks with AI
    • Stuck on an experiment, or not sure if your literature review has covered everything it should? Bring your own research question to this hands-on clinic, and put it to CAS Newton, an agentic AI that understands complex scientific questions. You’ll walk away with evidence-backed answers that you don’t have to cross-reference manually. You’ll also learn how to build smarter search queries and generate AI-summarized literature reviews, so you can solve the next roadblock yourself.

  • Publishing Clinic: Your Publishing Questions, Answered
    • Have questions about choosing the right journal, navigating peer review, or any other aspect of the publishing process? This small-group session gives you the opportunity to speak directly with an ACS Publications editorial staff member. Guidance provided is informational only and does not represent a formal editorial decision.
