Vice President of Chinese Chemical Society Academician of Chinese Academy of Science Professor, East China University of Science & Technology China
Prof. He Tian was born in 1962. He is a member of the Chinese Academy of Science and a Fellow of the World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) for the advancement of science in developing countries. Prof. Tian serves now as Director of the Academic Committee of East China University of Science & Technology (ECUST), He was selected as a member of the Chinese Academy of Science in 2011 and Fellow of the World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) in 2013. Prof. Tian’s current research interests mainly focus on the syntheses of novel functional organic dyes and polymers as well as development of interdisciplinary materials science that determines the electronic and optical properties of materials. He has been awarded the second-class prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award 2000, Prof. Tian is known as “Highly Cited Researchers” (Web of Science) in the area of chemistry during 2014–2020. Now he serves as Vice President of Chinese Chemical Society, Associate Editors of ACS App. Mater. Interfaces and Sci. China Chem. as well as editor broad members of many other international academic journals.

Shu Wang got his B.S. at the Department of Chemistry, Hebei University in 1994, and Ph.D in organic chemistry at the Department of Chemistry, Peking University in 1999. After his doctoral studies, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences from 1999 to 2001, and then a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Polymers and Organic Solids, University of California, Santa Barbara from 2001 to 2004. In 2004, he began his independent faculty career as a full professor of Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is currently the Deputy Director of Key Laboratory of Organic Solids, and the Office Director of Beijing National Research Center for Molecular Sciences at Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Shu Wang has served on the Editorial Advisory Boards or Editorial Boards for Langmuir, ACS Omega, Science China-Chemistry, Acta Chimica Sinica, Chinese Chemical Letters, Materials Horizons, Colloids and Surfaces B: Biointerfaces et al. and as an Associate Editor of ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces since 2011, and as an Executive Editor since 2016. He has authored or co-authored over 200 peer-reviewed articles and 3 books/6 book chapters, and is the co-inventor in 30 patents or disclosures.
Dr. Xiaoyan Cheng
Customer Success Specialist, Product and Content Training , Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS)
Dr. Xiaoyan Cheng works as Customer Success Specialist in Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS), and she has primary responsibility for CAS product and database content training, including SciFinder, SciFinder Discovery Platform, PatentPak, MethodsNow, Formulus, ChemZent, NCI Global etc., and support new solutions under development by CAS. In addition, she’s responsible for solving customers’ questions in using CAS products, and providing users with retrieving strategy, which involve medicine, fine chemical and material area. Dr. Cheng joined CAS in July, 2016. Before that, she worked for Honeywell, a Fortune 100 international Company. She worked as R&D Scientist in Performance Material & Technology department. And she’s mainly responsible for research fine chemical and develop new materials. Dr. Cheng graduated from Nankai University, and obtained Ph.D. degree in Organic Chemistry. In the work and learning phase, she is responsible for research projects involving multiple areas, including organic chemistry, chemical biology, biomedical, fine chemical and polymer materials.
